Welcome.
I’m Larry Wood, a traditional woodworker based in the Blue Mountains of eastern Oregon. I work primarily with hand tools, many of them antiques, using methods that have changed little over generations.
My shop is a small, one-man workspace where I make functional objects with care, patience, and respect for the material. Chairs, mallets, spoons, and other wooden tools take shape slowly here, guided by use rather than trend.
This site is a place to share my work, my projects, and occasional notes from the bench. I’m glad you’re here!
